Axolotl Wins TEPR 2005 Award: EHR Systems for Medical Transcription
Axolotl Corporation, a leading provider of health information management products and services, took first place in the EHR Systems for Medical Transcription category at the recent Medical Records Institute 2005 TEPR (Towards an Electronic Patient Record) Conference.
The TEPR judges reviewed over 100 applications in seven categories. Top vendors in each category then presented to an independent panel of judges representing industry experts. Axolotl's robust transcription platform, attention to customer business needs, experience integrating transcription into EHRs, and demonstrable improvements to physician office and HIM processes all contributed to their selection as the award winner. The transparency Axolotl provides into transcription price and quality was also noteworthy.
Raymond Scott, CEO of Axolotl Corp., said, "We are very excited about being selected as the top provider in the EHR Systems for Medical Transcription category. With the award, the Medical Records Institute has acknowledged the important role that transcription has in the EHR. We strive to provide the best medical transcription service in the industry. We thank the TEPR award judges for selecting us as the first place vendor."
