Precyse Solutions and Baptist Health System of Alabama have completed the implementation for the complete outsourcing of Baptist's HIM Transcription Services. Baptist Health System includes more than seven hospital facilities throughout the state of Alabama.

Precyse Solutions was selected because of its technology platform along with its strong client references, credentialed staff and proven best practices. Baptist was seeking a solution to increase and improve the electronic flow of information between its facilities and the providers' private offices.

All seven facilities successfully implemented the Precyse Solutions Transcription platform within a record-breaking 8-week period. Response to the decision to outsource and the subsequent implementation cycle has been overwhelmingly positive. The outsourcing initiative is part of a large, system-wide initiative undertaken by new Baptist CEO Beth O'Brien, to dramatically reduce costs and improve internal processes. The outsourcing of HIM Transcription Services to Precyse is projected to save Baptist more than $200,000 annually while dramatically improving workflow and ease of access to information.
